According to a Facebook event page set up by the fire department, the party is scheduled from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the firehouse, 24 Century Boulevard.
Parents and their children are invited to attend the party in costume for a night of games, candy, light refreshments, music and a costume contest, according the fire company.
The Trunk-or-Treat event, which will allow children to go from parked car to parked car to collect candy, aims to provide a controlled and safe location for trick-or-treaters, according to the fire company.
